CACEIS is a European global custodian and the asset servicing arm of the Crédit Agricole group. Since the acquisition of Santander's 30.5% stake in 2025, CACEIS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Credit Agricole S.A. It operates in more than 80 markets, through a network of 17 entities in Europe, North and South America and Asia, dedicated to asset managers, banks, and institutional and corporate clients. CACEIS is a Qualified Custodian, a fully-licensed depositary, and following its approval by the French banking regulator (ACPR), a recognised Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the EU’s MiCA framework, which enables regional passporting of services. The bank promotes a range of services for digital assets which centre primarily around the custody and administration of crypto-assets, as well as asset tokenisation for securities and funds.
