Visualizing disruptions in global capital markets
A disruption refers to any event in the capital market infrastructure that could disrupt a markets normal ability to trade and settle.
These disruptions could have occurred at the Central Bank, CCP, CSD, or Exchanges of that market.
The map displays every market currently monitored by Thomas Murray. The colour of the market represents the number of disruptions that have occurred in the time frame, and the darker the colour the more disruptive events that have occurred in that market.
To view a list of the disruptive events that have occurred in any market simply use the mouse to hover over the market to see the heading of the disruption and date it occurred. To alter time period of events use the date slider located at the bottom of the display.
